In-home newborn sessions have such a special place in my heart. I had the honor of capturing Emily and Tim for their maternity session in April, so I couldn’t wait to capture their magical newborn with baby Claire. Welcoming a baby is one of the biggest moments of your life, so it’s only natural so many families long to document this special {and fleeting} season.

Unforgettable Memories

There are so many sweet details that made this session special. In-home photos allows families to be in the comfort of their home, in their most favorite space. These moments captured are much more than just posed smiles. I long to document the tiniest of details, the ones you’ll never want to forget- like sweet baby toes, hands wrapped around mom’s fingers, feeding baby, fur siblings saying “hi”cto their new housemate.

When families choose in-home newborn sessions, everything baby needs is in one place. In-home sessions are also perfect for families with toddlers adjusting to new routines and a new sibling. Emily and Tim utilized several rooms in their home and were also able to include their pups, Holly and Frankie, easily since they were at home. Claire is their first babe and is just the perfect addition to their little family!

What Makes A Home

Many times we forget that the people around us make our house a home. The space, the furniture, the decor is just an additional touch. The newborn sessions at home allow families to remember this season of life in a unique and special way. Many families grow and move down the road but having photos in their home to look back on and remember is one of the things my clients cherish most.
